Booking Terms

These booking terms describe, in general terms, what to expect when arranging a collection with Van-Go Clearance Ltd.

Last updated: Date to be confirmed

Content shown on this page is provided for development purposes and should be reviewed and replaced with the company’s final legal policy before publication.

1. Booking Process

A booking is made by selecting a service, providing details about the waste and collection address, reviewing the quotation and completing the booking steps shown.

A booking is treated as arranged once it has been confirmed to you.

2. Service Availability

Availability depends on the service selected and the collection location. You can check whether an area is covered using the postcode checker on this website.

Where a requirement falls outside standard availability, it may still be possible to arrange something by enquiry.

3. Customer Information

Please provide accurate contact and address details when booking, so the collection team can reach you and find the site.

If any of your details change before collection, please let us know.

4. Waste Type Requirements

The waste described at the time of booking determines the service, vehicle and disposal route arranged.

If the waste presented differs materially from the description given, the booking may need to be reviewed before the collection can proceed.

5. Access Requirements

Please tell us about anything that may affect access at the collection address, such as:

  • Restricted or narrow vehicle access
  • Parking restrictions or permit requirements
  • Stairs, lifts or long carrying distances
  • Gated access, security procedures or booking-in requirements
  • Any site-specific health and safety requirements

6. Collection Arrangements

Collections are arranged for an agreed date, and where applicable a time window.

Timings can be affected by circumstances outside our control. Where a collection cannot go ahead as arranged, we will aim to contact you to agree an alternative.

7. Changes to Bookings

If you need to change the date, the address or the details of a booking, please contact us as early as possible.

Changes are subject to availability and to the waste remaining suitable for the service booked.

8. Cancellation

If you need to cancel a booking, please tell us as soon as you can so the slot can be released.

The applicable cancellation notice period and any related terms should be confirmed and inserted here by the business.

9. Payment

Payment details applicable to your booking are shown during the booking process, and online payments are handled by our payment provider.

Specific payment and deposit terms should be confirmed and inserted here by the business.

10. Missed Collections

If a collection cannot be completed because the waste is not accessible, or nobody is available where access is required, we will contact you to discuss rearranging.

Any terms applying to a missed collection should be confirmed and inserted here by the business.

11. Prohibited / Restricted Waste

Some materials cannot be collected as part of a standard booking, and others may only be collected once they have been reviewed in advance.

The restrictions relevant to each service are described on the relevant service page. If you are unsure whether something can be collected, please ask before booking.

12. Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste needs specialist handling and cannot be arranged through the standard instant-booking process.

Please submit a hazardous waste enquiry so the requirement can be reviewed and appropriate arrangements discussed with you.

13. Customer Responsibilities

When a collection has been booked, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you are entitled to arrange for the waste to be removed
  • Describing the waste accurately and keeping us informed of any changes
  • Making the waste available and accessible at the agreed time
  • Removing anything you do not want taken away
  • Providing safe access to the collection point

14. Liability

We aim to carry out collections with reasonable care and skill.

The extent of our liability in connection with a booking should be confirmed by the business and set out here following legal review.

15. Contact

Questions about a booking can be raised using the contact details shown on our Contact page.
